Sophie & Max Show Some Ocean Love

Children's book concepts:
Introduce young children to the concept of ocean conservation and having love and empathy for the marine life that lives there!

Max doesn't understand why Sophie cleans garbage off the beach every morning, so she takes her friend on a dive of discovery where the children marvel at the beauty of the world beneath the waves, the colourful coral, and schools of fishes.

They encounter three marine critters in peril from our trash, and save a balloonfish, an octopus, and a hungry sea turtle as they explore and collect garbage that has been carried to the ocean floor.

This fun story will demonstrate a love and respect for our oceans and animals that will help foster the caring needed to help protect it. Hopefully it will also spark a desire to learn more about our oceans, seas and the fascinating-and sometimes strange-marine life in it!

Kids can be heroes too!

Note from author: I am a Nana that just started scuba diving in earnest in 2013 when my husband started a dive shop in Canada. I have since fallen deeply in love with the ocean and the amazing critters in it! I will tell you that all of them are my favourite creatures, but I am especially fond of sharks - who knew this could be possible when I grew up fearing them? The children's book I am working on now is about sharks. It is my great love and privilege to be able to create these books for my grandchildren. I am so thankful.
